Sega Master System high fidelity audio!

Trippy!

On the topic of the Sega Master System as we were discussing it earlier in regards to the Alex Kidd remake, @matteusbeus of the upcoming Crypt of Dracula, has just tweeted us a rather special Audio video that relates to high fidelity audio being played on the Sega Master System. In fact it isn't just any high quality audio, as this is an upcoming hi-fi sample player that is currently in development by SMS Power!'s Maxim.

As noted by the discussion on the SMS Power forums, sverx had made a post regarding the 48khz digital music player being on the C64 and wondered if it would be possible to do something similar for the Sega Master System but using a lower sample rate and the possibility of it ending up as a whole CD on a cart.Well it seems as if Maxim the Site Admin had stepped up to the challenge and after much discussion is now using advanced pre-analysis to produce much higher quality than normal audio as shown by the video above.
