Micro Gotek - Move over chunky Gotek Floppy Emulator it's time to go Micro

At the beginning of this year we did a big feature packed review of the Gotek Floppy Emulator; a hardware device that allowed you to use USB memory sticks to load floppy files, on not just an Amiga, but an Atari, Amstrad and many others! Now it seems the original Gotek might be about to go the way of the DODO bird, as today we've come across the Micro Gotek, a Gotek Floppy Emulator that's so small it's only 47x46 mm!

The issue with the original Gotek if you decide to go down that route, is a lot of people cut their cases to fit which looks awful, and even then if you decide to remove the board inside, it still needs some way of fitting using a printed plastic holder and looking rather chunky in the process. The Micro Gotek does away with that however as according to the designer Piotr Bugaj it doesn't just feature thin wired accessories but also enables you to connect the board directly to the Amiga floppy port!

How cool is that?
