Rick Dangerous was and still is a very challenging action platformer that made you feel like an Indiana Jones character traversing dangerous locations such as caves and temples while also avoiding the bad guys, deadly spikes and rolling boulders. It was such a well known game it appeared on the Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, and DOS, with a later unofficial port to the Colecovision in June of this year. But it seems another system is about to get in on the Rick action, as it is also coming to the Sega Master System.
Announced some time ago by ichigo@ichigobankai_ with a more recent video tweet shown above, this famous game originally by Core Design and published by Firebird in 1989, looks to be another fantastic looking port that will feel right at home on the Sega Master System, just as it has done on the main systems mentioned in the main topic above. It's just a shame it's only in an Alpha state but the coder does go on to say it does work on real hardware!
So watch this space :)
