DAAD Adventure Writer - Text based adventure game creator, fully recovered after 30 years!

A great piece of news has just hit our inbox, as we've recently been contacted by Stefan Vogt, the same creator behind the recently updated brilliant science fiction game Hibernated 1: This Place is Death. That he has recently announced the DAAD Adventure Writer has been fully recovered, extended and released after being lost for 30 years. This incredible piece of software allows you to create text based adventure games, for systems such as the C64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, PCW, Atari ST, Amiga, IBM PC (DOS)!

Although a much more indepth write up with download links can be found on the main site. DAAD Adventure Writer was rediscovered in 2014 but it wasn't until much later after the original system was gone, that it had been restored, extended and recovered with English language support including solutions to create your own games with the help of modern editors. As for the software itself,  the DAAD Adventure Writer is the most sophisticated adventure system easily on par with the capabilities of the Infocom development tools, allowing you to target a broad range of 8-bit and 16-bit systems.
