Andy Remic certainly knows how to please the retro community, especially through the organising, creating and releasing two incredible ZX Spectrum packed feature documentaries. Both the Memoirs of a Spectrum Addict and Spectrum Addict Load "Film 2" were crowd funded successes. Well now it looks as if he has another Kickstarter success under his belt, as this month we were told the next feature length documentary film the 'Spectrum Addict 2.5: The Lost Tapes', has reached a high goal with 428 backers pledging £9,275!
So why the need for a 2.5? Well according to the creator after talking with the community, he felt the need to create a new film with some new interviewees, while also utilising quality unseen footage and making it available at a lower price, with signed discs as an exclusive to backers. The original films contained lots of interviews and other great gaming nostalgia, while the upcoming 2.5 film will not only contain interviews such as Simon Brattel, Dr Mark Eyles, Teresa "T’zer” Maughan and Paul Griffiths, but new CHAPTERS on the homebrew Scene including hardware and the Spectrum Next.
So yes certainly one to keep an eye on, but for further info on this awesome looking feature-length documentary film about the Sinclair ZX Spectrum Computer, make sure to check out the link below!
