As many of you know by now, the ex-SEGA game developer and author: Sarah Jane Avory is not only working on a fabulous RPG for the C64 called ' Briley Witch Chronicles ', which by all accounts isn't just a good looking game, but will have lots of interesting features that is sure to whet your appetite. But that same developer had also released a brilliant Shoot em up for the C64 called Neutron. Well the developer has taken no time off, as thanks to a heads up in our twitter feed, Sarah Jane Avor has announced another Shoot em up for the C64 called ' Soul Force '.
#C64 #SHMUP progress: so here's a little WIP video of the NTSC version.๐Still loads more to do to make this a finished game... Oh, and all the sfx and music (for now) are from Neutron.๐ pic.twitter.com/nnf19SJmZm— Sarah Jane Avory (@SarahJaneAvory) July 20, 2019
Yes indeed Sarah is back with another awesome looking game, but unlike the top scrolling brilliance of Neutron this is a game that will hopefully be released at some point this year, as a hark back to the days of Gradius, Nemesis or even R-Type. It will feature different themed levels, waves of dangerous enemies, and awesome firepower as the only means to defend yourself... Please note this is an early tease, the music and sfx have yet to be changed, and it's the NTSC version shown.
