There are a lot of readers on our site that remember and have enjoyed the 1980's Isometric games from Ultimate Play the Game, such as Gunfright, Pentagram and even Knight Lore on systems such as the Amstrad, C64 or ZX Spectrum. So you can see why I just had to mention Ricardo Calaça Nunes latest ZX Spectrum game of ' 'Zoinho' ; an Isometric styled game, that is currently available to download as an early alpha preview for the ZX Spectrum 48k and above.
If you've ever played an isometric game from Ultimate Play the Game then you know what to expect with this early preview of Zoinho. As in this game you must move from screen to screen, jump over objects, push objects about, collect items and finally try not to get killed by some of the nasties spread throughout some of the inclusive levels. And that's pretty much all there is to say, as although it's a nice looking preview, it's still too early too call it a proper game.
