It's incredible to think how many times Bruce Lee has appeared on Indie Retro News as either as a dicussion about the original classic or some new overhaul to whet your appetite. We've had Bruce Lee Return of Fury, a continuation of a classic 80's game released by MegaStyle, Bruce Lee RX, An enhanced ZX Spectrum Bruce Lee, and yes even Bruce Lee appearing on the Sega Master System. Well now we've got the best of a double whammy, as today Rebel Android has announced the Bruce Lee Duology for the C64.
As noted by the website. The Bruce Lee Duology features both Return of Fury+ and the classic Bruce Lee with bonus material. Return of Fury is an unofficial continuation of the classic C64 platform beat'em up Bruce Lee, originally published in 1984 by DataSoft, Inc. The pack features Return of Fury+ ; a bug-fixed and enhanced version of Return of Fury, no intros, configurable character colours, difficulty modes, a competition mode, cheats, alternative sprites by TIX, 3 player action, extra player support in the classic game, and finally and amazing loader picture by Rune Spaans set to haunting music by Anders Rodahl with the classic loader picture set to stunning music by Ole Marius Pettersen.

I just learned about this, incredible news! As a long-time fan of the original Bruce Lee game, I wasn't even aware of its sequel Bruce Lee II, but that there's also Bruce Lee - Return of Fury and now this Duology! Truly awesome stuff! Hats off for developing this release, I've tried Duology and it certainly lived to my expectations. I remember how cool and fun the first Bruce Lee game was when I was a kid, and the chance to receive more of that goodness now later in life is a rare treat indeed.
