Crystals of Amalgam - An addictive match 3 game with retro inspirations gets a PC release

We've featured a number of great match 3 games on Indie Retro News, games such as The Return of Traxtor and Vegetables Deluxe to name but a few. But now after searching the very depths of itch.io, we've come across a brand new game for the PC called 'Crystals of Amalgam'; a freely playable and great looking release by Alex FC and Dotto Meister for the Revision Jam [8 Bits to Infinity Anniversary] competition.

According to the description : Your ship has been pulled into an interdimensional gap and is now trapped within a field of crystal orbs. Match 3 or more orbs to destroy them. Mix primary colors to get a secondary color, or secondary colors to get a silver orb! Silver orbs will give you special powers when you match them. But be aware that time is your enemy. Don't let the orb wall reach the limit range or your ship will be destroyed! The game features great retro aesthetics, addictive non stop match 3 gameplay, a deep chiptune soundtrack, downloadable and playable in your browser, and finally inspired by the Juan J. Martínez's "Traxtor" saga from www.usebox.net/jjm.
