In 1983 Matthew Smith and published by Bug-Byte released the well known classic of Manic Miner for the ZX Spectrum. Although it was later released again by Software Projects for the C64, it was the first game in the willy series and being voted number 25 in the Your Sinclair official top 100 Spectrum games of all time. So why are we mentioning this classic game yet again? Toki(Twitter) has released his version of Manic Miner as Manic Miner 64DX; a new version of Manic Miner which aims to be as close as possible to the Speccy classic.
So why should you play this game over any other Manic Miner original? Well in the case of Manic 64DX, it not only features an overhaul to the graphics looking more like the Speccy version, but a choice of versions before you begin the game, a high amount of options in the main menu, and a great soundtrack giving those nostalgic ZX Spectrum vibes!
