AMIner - An arcade mining game for the Amiga is complete and ready to be enjoyed!

Another announcement has just arrived from Saberman, as he has just told us a previous Amiga game that was teased with demos called 'AMIner', has been updated with a final build of 25.3.30, which features a number of improvements making it a worthy game to play. If you've not heard of this game before, AMiner is an Arcade title that is not only based on a Motherload flash game, but also looks like an inspiration to Mr. Driller Drill Spirits, which was originally released on the Nintendo DS.

As we said before, AMIner was first submitted during the RetroKomp Gamedev Compo as a work in progress, where it scored 2nd place. This version however is a far more complete game as it was not only developed by KaiN and Softiron, but features all the graphics in lovely 32 colours, lots of new graphical detail, and finally a soundtrack by Luc3k all working on an Amiga KS1.3 OCS Amiga, with 1MB Chip and a bit of FAST...

  1. Hi, just a little correction here. I, softiron, did the graphics and storyline. KaiN is the coder behind all of it and music was composed and performed by Luc3k.

  2. This game has so much character! Beautiful soundtrack (started to listen to Yann Tiersen's Amelie soundtrack after watching the gameplay video), looks great and seems to play nice, too. Need to check this one out

  3. This looks so neat. I've got a strange love for games where you get to dig.
