Even more retro games to get through this week, as once again Saberman has contacted us, to tell us that excess has released a very early version 2 preview of Darkerror's upcoming sequel Moonshadow 2 Septerios Revenge, which is a tribute to Paolo Galimberti's Moonshadow released way back in 1990. This game is an action platformer and features multiple themed rooms, item collection and enemies to fight (Although enemies are still lacking in this preview).
At this current stage it's hard to see how this game will develop considering what can be seen in the video above compared to the prequel is of striking similarity. As one person noted on the CSDb site previously for V1, so far it does look more like a graphical hack of MoonShadow, as not just the music and the graphics are very similar, but even the way the UI is designed looks the same. Although I did notice the heart has changed, a few changed sprites, and the green selection at the top is different.
