Before you get too excited this isn't a new helicopter game as a sequel to the classic game of Desert Strike or Jungle Strike, but is in fact a rather cool looking game that does give the impression that it's inspired by those great classics called 'Megacopter Blades of the Goddess '; A game developed by Pizza Bear Games in which you play as a mighty powerful Mega Copter, and must fly around the landscape destroying the Reptoid's and their deadly weaponry.
As noted by the Steam page description : Megacopter blends 80s/90s retro games (Choplifter, Desert/Jungle/Urban Strike) and TV (Airwolf, Knight Rider) with updated gameplay and sci-fi adventure. The game will feature a variety of mission types such as Seek and Destroy, rescue or even taking out deadly bosses, 2D Action based combat taking out enemies in the sky and on the ground, powerful weaponry for your Megacopter, blood consumption to unleash an ancient weapon called the AZ-TECH, purchasable improvements to help you progress, a great soundtrack, and much much more when the game is available later this year!

I've been waiting forever for this game to be available on Steam. I wonder how long it will take.
ReplyDeleteThis is the only good side effect from steam having a horrible search engine, I don’t find out about most game release dates I’d like until their almost out, so I don’t have to deal with the anxiety that comes from waiting 3-10 years for indie games, but I miss out on a lot of great games too unfortunately.
