Trawling through the latest SEUCK Compo 2020 entries looking for a decent C64 game to play, and one that stood out in the crowd was Pinov Vox's multipart C64 game of 'Fish Pond - RoboVox'. What makes it stand out isn't just the fact it looks like a rather nice game sporting lovely detail and taking place across 3 parts, but from the look of the main character above, it's inspired by the early 90's game of Robocod: a game originally released on many different systems as the sequel to James Pond: Underwater Agent.
According to The New Dimension for a game released in April and one we haven't yet featured, Fish Pond - Robovox is a fun 3-part Italian S.E.U.C.K cartoon caper, written by Pinov Vox. It features colourful game worlds, some really cute sprites and some challenging game play... TND also go on to say in terms of the gameplay. You must help Fish Pond save your friends from an evil Vallain, who leaves them stranded close to danger. Fish Pond has a different weapon to fire in each part of the game.
