Open Solomon's Key - Open-source remake of the 1986 Arcade classic for Windows

Although things are a little bit difficult at home hence the lack of updates over the last few days, one game I want to give a mention to that might be worth a play through, is mdodis's open source work in progress remake of the 1986 game Solomon's Key; a puzzle game developed by Tecmo that was originally released not just in the Arcades but on the C64, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, Atari ST, IBM PC, Master System, PC Engine, Famicom Disk System, Game Boy and yes even the NES.

Open Solomon's Key is an open-source remake of the 1986 arcade game by Tecmo. It tries to be truthful to the original game (as much as anyone can without the original source code), while adding some extra elements, like a fully customizable level format etc. As for the main gameplay however. you play as the character, "Dana," who must traverse his way through 50 challenging action/puzzle style levels, by creating and destroying bricks to walk and jump on to finally unlock the door to each stage while also dodging and or attacking hazards and enemies.
