For those that loved playing the Ultimate Play the Game classics, will certainly feel right at home on Indie Retro News. Especially as homebrew developers and graphical artists had taken it upon themselves to convert/port many of those great games over to systems that didn't have the luxury of the original in the first place. Games such as Atic Atac being ported over to the C64 by Steven Day, Saul Cross and Tomcat from the BBC Micro or ZX Spectrum is certainly one eye opener we've mentioned this year.
Well fast forward to this month and do we have another great teaser to show you, as in relation to the upcoming Amstrad CPC port of Atic Atac, the team behind the game such as Steven Day, John Ward, and Saul Cross have released a new beta gameplay video! Yes indeed this version of the game of which we have mentioned a little while ago, has not only come in leaps and bounds since its first showing, but there's new graphical details, a great tune, and the gameplay is looking a lot better too! Seriously as we said before, we can't wait to play this on the Amstrad CPC in the near future.
- Thanks Steven Day for the heads up!
