Chances are if you had an Amiga, you would've enjoyed the many Shoot em ups released on that well loved computer, such as Project X, Banshee and the latest ones released such as Reshoot and our personal favorite Inviyya. Well as a complete surprise to us and what looks to be a rather special game indeed, Saberman has done a video of an unreleased game called 'Blork'; a very stylish underwater shooter created by the demo group Scienide around the mid-late 90s.
According to Games That Weren't, in this game developed as a first project on the Amiga 500 before the Amiga market began to disappear – so the team made the tough decision to halt production. You control a cute fish main character and his octopus friend within a dark and gloomy underwater world. The development was done by Ply2, with music by Exodus and graphics by Blork and Nytech, and while this is just a preview which was available from Scienide’s website. The game contains around 3 levels, the quality of the game is brilliant and the overall design very slick with plenty of promise overall. So yes, if you love Shoot em ups, you owe it to yourselves to play this rather lovely unfinished game by Scienide.
