Are you looking for a new game for your C64 that isn't a platformer or a shooter, then have we got just the game for you! As trawling through the TND website, we've just come across a new game from Richard Bayliss, Hugues Poisseroux and Martin Piper called 'Gyro Run'; a fun hi-score attack party challenge game in which you need to spin your spinner around the game screen collecting tasty treats for points and avoiding deadly skulls.
As the description states on the main website : The aim of this game is to guide your spinner around the game arena collecting tasty treats for points. The player is controlled by turning a dial 1 of 8 directions using left/right on a joystick, pressing fire will force it to move the direction indicated by the arrow. Those tasty treats will spawn at random. Alas, deadly skulls will also spawn at random, and you will want to avoid those. For every treat you pick up you will not only score points, but you also activate a temporary shield and if lucky find a bomb to clear the Arena... So good luck!
