Bug's Quest for Tapes - REJOICE FOR A NEW AMSTRAD CPC GAME!
This year has already seen a few nice titles released for the Amstrad CPC, but here is a lovely colourful homage to the Jet Set Willy/Chuckie Egg style of game, featuring my very own character, Novabug. Guide my likeness across 42 screens to reach the Bugloft, collecting tapes and avoiding hazards such as Postman Pat, Basil Brush and Ladies of the Night along the way.
I have to stress, I did not write this. Those honors go too YB Soft, also known as Yellow Belly on Youtube. With help from myself, Brian O'Higgins, Titan, Kukulcan and others, he has produced a tidy, challenging and fun platforming game full of cheeky humor to boot. I have given this the review treatment already on my channel, but more importantly, 20 physical cassette copies are to be auctioned off to charity live on Saturday 28th of August 2021, will ALL proceeds of the game going to Macmillan Cancer Support. To obtain a download code, check out Xyphoe's AMSTREAM live on Friday night the 3rd of September. The game will not be available for free public release until later in the year.
