PETSCII Portal - An inspiration to Valve's Portable arrives on the C64 and Commodore PET

For those of you who have played Valve's hit game of Portal might like this early hour news story, as we've recently been informed via CSDb, that if you head on over to the itch page below, you can  download either the Commodore PET or C64 version of PETSCII Portal. A tribute to the Flash game Portal2d, which itself was a tribute to the Valve game Portal. Snowed Under - A new charity game from Allan Turvey & Andy Johns for the ZX Spectrum

When it comes to announcing something from Allan Turvey, it's usually a new game that's just been announced such as the case with Asteroids RX, Percy Penguin or even Terrapins. But this time he's decided to do something different, as in relation to the upcoming festive period, he is putting the word out for everyone in the ZX Spectrum community to not only support the charity Crisis at Christmas, but to also try out his brand new game SNOWED UNDER; an excellent new charity release ZX game from Allan Turvey & Andy Johns.

Turrican has been teased as an early proof of concept for the MSX1 by Geppo's MSX Adventure!

A rather famous game for this early evening is none other than Turrican. A game which has had countless mentions on IRN throughout the years on multiple systems, has now appeared as an early proof of concept with hopeful future development by Geppo's MSX Adventure for the MSX1. Turrican was originally released in 1990 by Rainbow Arts and programmed by Manfred Trenz with an incredible soundtrack by Chris Huelsbeck. The game featured great shooting action, powerful weaponry and amazing game play that is still loved to this day.

Indie Retro News - C64 Game of The Year Award 2021 - VOTE NOW! (Winner announced 1st Jan 2022)

With just over one month left for 2021 and something I've personally not done on Indie Retro News before, I thought it was about time I also did an Indie Retro News game of the year award for the C64 with the winner being announced at some point on Jan 1st 2022. Yes we may get some new C64 games released in December but for the most part many of these games below will probably be the highlight for 2021. Below is just some of the games we've featured that are available in the list for YOU to vote for! 

Santa's Workout - The first of many C64 games for Christmas, with Vector5games latest release!

With Christmas being less than a month away you'd expect to see lots of Christmas themed games appearing on Indie Retro News in the lead up to the 25th. Well that's certainly happening this week, as the first game to be mentioned on our site is a Christmas game by Vector5games for the C64 called 'Santa's Workout '; a brand new Commodore 64 puzzle game in which you need to help Santa to the exit using a limited amount of iced blocks.

80's 8bit classic Rock Star Ate My Hamster as a Millennium edition for the Commodore 64, Commodore Plus/4 and ZX Spectrum

The last news story of the week and one I think many people will be loading up by the end of the day, as we've recently been trawling the plus4world website, and have found out that the classic management game of Rock Star Ate My Hamster, has been unofficially re-released as a Millennium edition with 50 brand new stars at the pinnacle of their success in the twenty-years period between 2000-2020. Although this is a crack of the game, 4 of the artists have been drawn by the original game's graphics artist Chris Graham with Intro bitmap originally by Schafft/Brothers/COM.

LumASCII - A rather unique shooter on the Speccy that's well worth checking out!

Although I'm not one for writing up about games that were released some time ago, but thanks to a heads up from Saberman, we've been told that if you want to play a rather unique ZX Spectrum that we haven't featured before, then you really should check out Bob's ASCII based Shoot 'em up of 'LumASCII' on the 48K ZX Spectrum; A very enjoyable and as the developer says is a rather unique one-of-a-kind game on the Spectrum that only uses ASCII characters throughout instead of pixel-based high-res graphics!

Tales of Gorluth III - The Third and Final Chapter is now available for the Amiga CD32/CDROM and IndieGO!

AMIworx are back in the news this week as they have recently informed the Amiga community that their previously playable (as a demo) of the Action RPG game 'Tales of Gorluth III", is now available for ordering for the Amiga CD32 and indieGO! Retro Console. For those of you who haven't heard of this before, 'Tales of Gorluth III' is the third and final chapter in the series which was developed by AMIworx featuring high quality graphics and RPG charm should not be missed.

The Goblin - An upcoming ZX Spectrum platformer with an upbeat soundtrack from Hicks

Another day and another ZX Spectrum game, as we've recently been informed via XeNoMoRPH in our inbox, that if you head on over to Hicks website, not only can you download some very enjoyable games such as MABUS MANIA, but at some point in 2022 he is going to release his new game of 'The Goblin'; A game about a Goblin that must clear areas of enemies by drinking beer and belching on them! To coincide with this news, the developer has released a new teaser trailer linked below.

Guardian The legend of Flaming Sword - Upcoming Amiga platformer by Yoz Montana gets a new footage tease!

November has certainly been jam packed with Amiga news, games mentioned such as Attack of the Petscii Robots, Krogharr, Jump!, and even our personal favorite Turbo Santa. Well here's another game that is going to get a second feature, and that's Yoz Montana's upcoming Amiga platformer of 'Guardian - The Legend of Flaming Sword'; a game developed using the RedPill Game Engine that is being coded for both Amiga ECS and Amiga AGA Systems.

Jump! - The Amiga AGA version of Yoomp! is now available for pre-orders!

The Amiga scene just keeps on giving us the good stuff, as not only do we now know that Jump! is still coming to the Amiga, which is the Amiga AGA version of a game originally called Yoomp! But as of today you can pre-order the game with an official release of around spring 2022. Yoomp! 64 was originally released in 2020 by RGCD and Psytronik Software on the C64, as port of the fantastic Atari XE/XL game. It featured gaming mechanics in which you need to bounce a ball through many different three-dimensional textured tubes, to collect as many points as you can while trying not to fall off the edge.

Bagman Comes Back - A C64 homage to Bagman, an arcade game released by Valadon Automation in 1982

We've certainly had our fair share of Arcade games mentioned on Indie Retro News this year so far, from Tapper, to Puzzle Bobble, and yes even Space Invaders. But another game has just caught our attention and worthy of a mention on IRN, and it's LC-Games latest homage to the 1980's 'Bagman' called 'Bagman Comes Back'; a C64 game that's available to download through the itch.io website as a version that is made up of 8 completely new stages.

Moritz on the Autobahn - Moritz will soon be coming over to the Amstrad CPC!

Moritz has certainly made an appearance in a lot of ZX Spectrum games throughout our speccy write ups on Indie Retro News, he's been in Moritz Strikes Back, Moritz 48k, Moritz to the Moon, and yes even the the most recent of games, Moritz on the Autobahn. So what else can Moritz star in? Well after also making an appearance on the CPC in Moritz the Striker of which we featured in May, he's yet again going back to the Amstrad CPC, but this time in the upcoming game of Moritz on the Autobahn!

Ghosts 'n Goblins - Overhaul in development for the Amstrad Plus gets a new tease

The Amstrad has really set the bar high for 8bit developed games this year, with incredible releases such as AMSTRED, Cosmic Gatlin', Wrecking Ball, and Wireware. But here's one game that I think that will really impress the Amstrad community as a complete overhaul, is the upcoming Amstrad Plus version of Ghosts 'n Goblins'; a soon to be released high quality version of GNG developed by Mathieu Delaruelle aka Hwikaa, Julien Riet aka Ixien and Golem 13.

Attack of the Petscii Robots - Action Adventure game as a port by Vesa Halttunen gets new Amiga footage

Another Amiga news story for you all, as if you followed our previous write up in regards to Attack of the Petscii Robots; A game which is a brand new porting by Vesa Halttunen's of David Murray's Action Adventure. Then you'll be pleased to learn that as of today, you can view some brand new screenshots of the upcoming game, including new footage which is linked below. For those of you who haven't heard of this game before, Petscii Robots was originally released a new homebrew by The 8bit Guy for the Atari XL/XE, Atari, Applie II, C64, C128, Plus/4, and VIC 20.

Rogue64 - A new C64 roguelike from Badger Punch Games is available for pre-order via Bitmap Soft

If you love C64 games and fancy something different compared to our usual announcements for this well loved retro computer such as Platformers and Shoot 'em ups, then you'll be pleased to know as thanks to a heads up on Twitter, that Badger Punch Games latest offering of 'Rogue64', is available for Pre-Orders and will hopefully be shipped during the first week of December. For those of you who haven't heard of this game before, it's a rather cool looking game whereby every play of the game is a unique experience, with challenging procedural generated levels!

Turbo Santa - Did you enjoy playing Turbo Tomato by NIVRIG GAMES? Then you'll love this upcoming festive Amiga experience!

Here's a great news story for you all, especially if you have a Commodore Amiga close by, as we've recently been informed via our good friend Nivrig Games, who also designed the highly enjoyable game of 'Turbo Tomato', that as from this December you'll be able to play the equally enjoyable Amiga game of Turbo Santa; a very festive and frantic arcade score-attack game in which you need to deliver presents across sixteen waves to save Christmas.

Metal Slug on the Atari STE looks mighty impressive as a Mission 1 port!

I can say for sure there's probably not many of you that haven't heard of 'Metal Slug', a game in a series of games that are well known in the gaming community, going back to the days of the Neo Geo system. This game has plenty of humor, while remaining action packed throughout. In fact it was so much fun and still is, that a fan by the name of masteries had developed a Metal Slug (Mission 1) port for the Atari STE; an Atari development that runs at a rather smooth 50 frames per second with very few slowdowns!

Hallowed Knight - A ZX Spectrum tribute to the hugely popular modern Hollow Knight game

If you were a fan of the game Hollow Knight; A game which was so popular that it had sold over 500,000 copies by November 2017 and surpassed 1,000,000 in sales on the PC. Then you'll be pleased to learn that if you have a ZX Spectrum however, you can download the latest tribute to that great game called 'Hallowed Knight'. A metroidvania action-adventure game for the Spectrum 48k, which was made to take part in the ZX dev 2021 and released by ejvg via itch io.

Ray Fish Deluxe - A brand new vertical scrolling underwater shoot 'em up announced for the C64

The C64 news just keeps on coming, as if Cosmic Combat DX wasn't enough to whet your appetite, then you might be interested to learn as thanks to a heads up from our good friend Per Ola, that as from 3rd December, you'll be able to play the latest C64 game of Ray Fish Deluxe; a brand new vertical scrolling underwater shoot 'em up from Martin Piper, Richard Bayliss, Alf Yngve and Hugues (Ax!s) Poisseroux published by The New Dimension!

Cosmic Combat DX - An enhanced version of a cool Shoot 'em up is coming to a C64 near you soon!

Yet another game has appeared in our box of retro goodness, as we've recently been informed via Per Ola through Facebook and The New Dimension on Twitter, that if you're looking for a cool Shoot 'em up to play as from 3rd December onwards, then make sure to check out TND and Alf Yngve's overhauled C64 game of 'Cosmic Combat DX''; A fun arcade blaster for one or two players in which you must fly your spaceship into the deep void of space blasting through fleets of assorted alien invaders.

Wonderboy - Another WIP AMIGA update to the upcoming Arcade conversion by Acidbottle

When I was a wee lad spending all my money down at the Arcades, one such game I used to love was that fantastic platformer ' Wonder Boy '; a game which started its life as a skateboarding rock jumping and axe bashing platformer, that later became the adventure platformer with RPG elements Wonderboy in Monsterland. Well today we have another update for you in regards to that classic run n jump platformer, as there has been another WIP tease for the upcoming Amiga port that is being developed for the Amigamejam competition by acidbottle.

Athanor 2 - The Legend Of The Birdmen - A new Amiga game is available grab your copy before it's too late!

Although we informed you some time ago that the Amiga game Athanor 2 - The Legend of the Birdmen was a fabulous looking Adventure game that was programmed in C and is the sequel to the 2015-2016 game 'Athanor' which was also released on the Amstrad CPC, ORIC and yes even the C64. But as a more recent heads up from our good friend Tony Aksnes, he has told us that the game is being sold fast with a limited amount of copies available. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if there was any left going by this article going live.

1982 - 1983 Classic Arcade game 'Kangaroo' gets an Atari 8bit makeover by TIX

Another retro gaming article to keep you company and yes we've certainly had a busy week so far, is a brand new game hack for the Atari XL/XE called 'Kangaroo'. This latest addition to a long list of game hacks that have been seen for this system already, is a hack of the 1982-1983 Atari 8bit version. A new hack by TIX, which doesn't just feature a graphical makeover of the character sprites such as the Kangaroo, but also the Fruits, Bell and the leaves of the trees.

Rick Dangerous - A very difficult platforming classic is getting a 32 color enhancement for the Amiga 600/1200/CD32!

We've always had a soft spot for that classic Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and DOS game 'Rick Dangerous'; a very challenging action platformer from the late 80's, that made you feel like an Indiana Jones character traversing dangerous locations such as caves and temples while avoiding the bad guys and deadly boulders and spiked traps. Well if you remember this fine game (some people didn't like it) and have an Amiga 1200 or a CD32, Z-Team has announced an enhanced 32 color edition that's currently in development using Earok's Scorpion Engine!

Turrican 2 as a work in progress MS-DOS to AMIGA AGA conversion gets a new World 3 tease (HOT NEWS)

Another great Amiga update through Indie Retro News on this very early Tuesday morning, as we've just found out through Saberman on Facebook, that Muzza has just released a new demo world 3 for the work in progress MS-DOS to Amiga conversion of the classic action shooter game Turrican II. The second game in the Turrican series, which was originally developed by Factor 5 in the 90's and released on the Amiga, C64, CDTV, Atari ST, Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum, and later for DOS.

DOOM PIT - The official sequel to Clive Townsend's DEATH PIT gets a ZX Spectrum re-release

Ah Clive Townsend what a very talented developer he is, creator of the brilliant Saboteur! series of which many of us love still to this day. Sadly there was one game in his line up he never released for the speccy and that was Death Pit; a game advertised a lot by Durell, completed, but was never considered good enough for release even though some of the routines did end up in that game Saboteur. Still even though the development version was found in 2007, at least we have ' Doom Pit ' to enjoy. A new(ish) game as an official sequel for Clive Townsend's previously unreleased Death Pit!

Petaxian Preview - A new take on an Arcade classic based on PETSCII graphics

Galaga has appeared on Indie Retro News a few times over the years, especially as it is one particular Arcade classic that homebrew developers love making clones of with special effects and bonus power ups added. Well here we are with another Galaga feature, but unlike the excellent Arcade port released by Arlasoft just last month, this one is called Petaxian; a game which is basically Galaga and Galaxian but based on PETSCII graphics developed by Borgar.

PAC-WOR - A new game released for the C64 which is a Pac-Man Wizard of Wor mash up

Remember the days spent down at the Arcades, hearing the beeps and bops from the different machines, the coloured lights flashing all around, and money being lost for hours worth of enjoyment? Then you might be interested to know that the 1980's Arcade game of Wizard of Wor, which also appeared on the Atari 8-bit, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Bally Astrocade and C64, has been mashed up with Pac-Man and released on the C64 as 'PAC-WOR' by Krissz.

Shovel Adventure - Winner of the CPCRetroDev 2021 makes an appearance on the ZX Spectrum by Pat Morita Team

Great news if you have a ZX Spectrum, as thanks to another heads up from Saberman, we've been told that Pat Morita Team who behind games such as Vampire Slayer and Ninjakul 2, has released the CPCRetroDev 2021 Amstrad winner of 'SHOVEL ADVENTURE' over to the ZX Spectrum; An Arcade game in which you play as Johnny Pallas, the legendary archeologist of Utrera on a personal quest to search the Pharaom Lholha Flowers' chamber and uncover the mysteries of ancient Egypt!

The Shadows of Sergoth - A glorious Amiga Dungeon Crawler via Double Sided Games is finally here!

How time flies as it felt like it was only just yesterday that I had the pleasure of playing the high quality dungeon crawler that was released on the Amstrad CPC 6128; An inspiration to all those great first person grid based dungeon crawlers such as Eye of the Beholder or Dungeon Master. Well once again I'm in disbelief, as today after featuring the upcoming Amiga version for so long on Indie Retro News, we have been told by Saberman, that Double Sided Games has finally released the Amiga version of The Shadows of Sergoth much to the excitement of the community!

Get The Diamonds - A charming VIC20 puzzle game released by Derek via Reset64!

If you don't have a C64, but you do have a Vic20 with a 3K RAM expansion however, then you might like this news update, as thanks to @ResetC64 who sent us a heads up via twitter, we've been told that if you like puzzle games, then make sure to play Derek's latest game of 'Get The Diamonds'; a new 1 player game for your 3kb expanded VIC20, featuring colourful graphics, in game sound and 8 fiendish levels that has been published via Reset64 Magazine.

Boulder Dash Junior VI - Another C64 Boulder Dash Game appears!

Another retro heads up for you all, as Saberman has just let us know through Facebook, that Raiders of the Lost Empire has released a Junior VI version of First Star Software's classic game ' Boulder Dash '. This game originally released in 1984 for more computers can we can think of with a multitude of clones and sequels, yet again see's a younger version of Rockford collecting diamonds, while also trying not to dig himself under a boulder or straight into an enemy path!

Witch n' Wiz - A fabulous Arcade Puzzle game for your NES by Mhughson gets a release!

We've featured many NES games over the years from Trophy, to Blazing Rangers and even the insanely challenging Slow Mo that was released just recently. Well now another game has graced the NES and is sure to be enjoyed by many, is Mhughson's fabulous arcade puzzle game of 'Witch n' Wiz'; a spin-off/demake version of Witch n' Wiz for the annual 2020/21 NESDev competition, which is not only available for the NES as a digital download, but a rather glorious limited deluxe edition, and playable via PC emulation.

Tetris 2K21 - A new version of Tetris stemming from the 1990 Vortex team build arrives on the C16 & Plus/4

Oh joy of joys, if you loved the 1984 game of Tetris or the 1989 game of Columns , you'll be pleased to know a brand new puzzle overhaul of Tetris by Csabo and KiCHY has been released for the C16 and Plus/4 as Tetris 2k21. This excellent game that was originally released by Vortex Team back in 1990 is not only an improved version of the original with NES Tetris rules, but it features a brand new game code, new graphics (thanks to KiCHY), full SID support, and most everything else has been replaced!

Attack of the Petscii Robots - Action Adventure game from David Murray/8Bit Guy is coming to the Amiga as a port by Vesa Halttunen

Something slightly different for your evening entertainment, as we have recently been contacted through Facebook, to tell you that the same creator of PLANET X3, who we know as David Murray/The 8bit guy, has not only made available the Action Adventure game of 'Petscii Robots' for the Atari XL/XE, Atari, Applie II, C64, C128, Plus/4, and VIC 20. But a NES version of the game is in development, as well as a brand new port for the Commodore Amiga by Vesa Halttunen. To coincide with this news, you can view some new footage of the different versions of the game below.

Snow Force - Another festive game is coming for all C64 shoot em up fans via Sarah Jane Avory!

While many of you are still delving deep into Sarah Jane Avory's latest game of Briley Witch Chronicles, a Japanese inspired RPG with all the hall marks of a really well developed game. There's another game you might be interested in keeping an eye on which is due around Christmas time, is Sarah's latest announcement of 'Snow Force'; A very festive Shoot 'em up of her other great C64 game she released back in 2020 as Soul Force. To coincide with this news, Sarah has teased the first footage of the game which can be viewed below.

Double Dragon - Development has resumed to develop an Arcade classic over to the Amiga using the Scorpion Engine

Even to this day, if you ask someone what they thought of Double Dragon, and they'd probably tell you of an awesome Arcade beat em up released in 1987, that gave you the option to play two twin martial artists who could kick, punch and throw enemies off scene through many different levels. Well if you had this game on pretty much every system going but felt the Amiga version was lacking, well happy days! As it looks as if ElectricCafe has resumed his project to develop his Arcade quality port over to the Amiga, but this time using the Scorpion engine.

Quest for Glory IV: Shadows of Darkness - One of the best Adventure/RPG's gets a must download enhancement!

I've always been an Adventure gamer on both my Amiga and PC, and have such fond memories of games such as The Secret of Monkey Island, Simon the Sorcerer, Fable, Kings Quest and even the Quest for Glory series. In fact one such game I remember and always recommend as one of the top 10 Adventure games to play is the early 90's game Quest for Glory IV: Shadows of Darkness! So why am I mentioning this fabulous game on IRN? Well here's some great news for you all, as AshLancer has released the long-awaited Quest for Glory IV: Shadows of Darkness Enhanced Edition!

Black Sea - A charming ZX Spectrum game released by Mananuk with loading screen by ERRAZKING

Another retro gaming news story has hit our inbox, as Saberman was kind enough to let us know through Facebook, that if you're looking for a fun for all the family Arcade game for your ZX Spectrum, then you might like to play Mananuk's new game of ' Black Sea '; A charming speccy game in which you play as Submarine Captain Robinson on a quest deep into the Black Sea to search for treasures and discover all the secrets that those waters hold.

Stoker - Eagerly awaited C64 platformer by Rhys Clatworthy, gets a new twitter tease

Most of the time when it comes to C64 news we make sure to announce it as soon as possible being the first to get the news out into the world, much to the delight of the retro community. But this doesn't always happen! Welcome to one game that is still coming to the C64 that took us completely by surprise all those months ago, and that's ' Stoker '; an in development game by Rhys Clatworthy, that looks to feature some pretty impressive eye candy!

Hyper Echelon - A high quality Shoot 'em up is coming to Steam Nov 11th and it looks great!

Growing up there was nothing more satisfying than playing top down scrolling shoot 'em ups such as the fantastic classic Tyrian and more especially Tyrian 2000 before it went open source in 2007. Well if you also loved those games and want to play a new game inspired by those classics, then make sure to check out GangoGames LLC's awesome looking high quality Shoot 'em up called 'Hyper Echelon'; A game which takes inspiration from arcade classics while bringing its own authentic flavor of frantic, tactical shooting action - a bold experience with enough teeth for hardcore players, and plentiful rewards to welcome newcomers.

Witch Rescue Service - A very Witchy platformer by Space Moguls creator 'Carl-Henrik' gets another preview

Even more retro games to get through the beginning of the week, as thanks to Saberman yet again letting us know through Facebook, that he has told us that you can now download an early preview v3 of 'Witch Rescue Service';  a rather Witchy C64 platformer from Space Moguls creator Carl-Henrik. For those of you who haven't heard of this game before, it was originally a work in progress title that got such positive feedback as just a one week project to continue development, it has progressed into the early v3 preview you see today.

Forest Saver - Save the Trees another early C64 preview by INTOINSIDE

Yet another C64 heads up for you all, as we've recently been informed by Saberman that the upcoming C64 game of Forest Saver by intoinside, has yet again been teased with another early preview for you to download and try. In this game playing as a Ranger with his job to protect the Forest, you must be careful of of the loggers and industries who not only want to destroy the Forests, but they are also trying to pollute the lakes and make land for their pasture!

Devil's Temple : Son of the Kung-Fu Master - Amiga OCS Kung Fu spin off via Geezer Games gets another tease

If you've been following all of our news stories in regards Geezer Games 'Devil's Temple - Son of the Kung-Fu Master'; which is an unofficial spin off from the 1980's classic game 'Kung Fu', by Cowie, Ten Shu and DJ Metune. Then you may be interested to know as thanks to a heads up through Facebook, that we've been told that Graeme Cowie has teased a new video for the game which gives us a quick look at the first level game play of Devil's Temple with the Blue Oyster Cop boss included

Lost Asylum - A Ruff N Tumble inspiration is coming to the Amiga and it looks FAB! (Exclusive Video)

Another early heads up and yet again a weekend news story as thanks to Earok who was kind enough to give me a shout out at 5.30am (bad Earok :p), he has told us Raptor Games has shown off a very early work in progress teaser video of ' Lost Asylum '; A high quality 50HZ run 'n gun game, that is being developed using the Scorpion Engine as a love letter to that classic 1994 game Ruff N Tumble for the Commodore Amiga.

Supremacy 30th Anniversary Edition - HOT NEWS as a 30 year anniversary special has finally been released for the C64!

We've featured a lot of specials on Indie Retro News, but this latest news update for the C64 is sure to excite many across the globe who loved this classic game. As we've recently been informed via Facebook as a heads up by both Hayesmaker64 and Mike Robertson, that the 1990's hit classic of 'Supremacy' by Probe Software and published via Virgin Mastertronic with stunning music by Jeroen Tel/David Whittaker(ST), has finally been released for the C64 by Excess as the Supremacy 30th Anniversary Edition!

Mediterranean Air War - A 1942 and 1943 inspiration arrives on the C64 (SEUCK)

In 1984 a great shoot 'em up was released for the Arcade by Capcom and that game was 1942. A game in which you shoot down enemy planes, avoided being shot out of the sky and performed awesome rolls while collecting power ups. One of the more unusual power ups was being escorted by two other planes in formation that gave you the edge. It was an awesome game and still is today, but thanks huffelduff we have a brand new SEUCK game on the C64 that is inspired by 1942/3 and is called 'Mediterranean Air War'.

We've certainly played our fare share of Castlevania inspired games over the years, especially the most impressive Castlevania Spectral Interlude, which we had the pleasure of playing way back in 2015 on the ZX Spectrum which was created by Sanchez. But today thanks to a heads up from a good friend of ours on the itch website, we've been told you can now download Zenteku's latest game of 'Demon Slayer'; an action packed retro pixel art platformer which looks to be inspired by Castlevania.
