If you remember the 1989 Amiga, Atari ST and DOS game of Gravity Force, then you might like this early hour news story, as we've recently been informed by a good friend of ours on Facebook, that TheoTheoderich is not only working on an Amiga game inspired by Gravity Force called Caves & Cargo, but he has also released the first version of the game for you to try as the creators first self-made (and almost finished) BlitzBasic2 game!)".
Not only does the developer mention that Gravity Force was his favorite game in his younger years and he's always wanted to program something like this himself, but after learning to use BlitzBasic2 about a year ago, Caves & Cargo is the result to all of his hard work and he hopes your feedback will help him create a finished game. Do note however although the game can be tried below, not only it is not quite finished yet although technically it is, it will have a lot of bugs and missing features as well as the game stopping after missions/levels.
Developer Notes :
"The game runs on every upgraded Amiga, which has at least 1 MB chip-, 1 MB FAST-Mem and a harddisk/CF. But on an unaccelerated Amiga 500 the game is almost unplayable.Believe me, I spent a lot of time trying to get the game to run on an almost naked Amiga 500 with 1 MB chip mem. I couldn't get it to work, but I didn't want to throw the whole game away because of that."
