In 2016 Reset Magazine had a "Crap Game Compo"; a competition in which the only constraints was the devs' imaginations, and of course the tiny 4kb file size. Amongst the best was a game called "Goblin(GøbLiИ)", by Vanja Utne via Pond Software. It featured simple platforming action, where you must collect all the items, avoid the gribbly-esque baddies and, and escape to the exit to reach the next level. Well fast forward to today and we have just found out through Saberman that the game is being developed into an enhanced full version with a demo also available for you to try.
From what looks like a very nice game as seen by the video above or linked (here), from what we know so far going by the CSdb database, is this 9 level preview is based on Goblin and features more animation frames, new enemies, new graphics and music, new levels, a new title screen and game complete screen, etc. It should work fine on both NTSC and PAL with the full game being released sometime in 2022.
