As most of you are aware, there are different ways to create Amiga games, either through Amos, Blitz Basic, RedPill or through the rather lackluster Backbone. But one such game engine has become the highlight of nearly every new upcoming Amiga game, and that's Earok's amazing Scorpion Engine; a constantly updated piece of software that gives developers the tools to create graphically impressive games, running at decent frame rates even on the lowest spec'd Amigas.
Scorpion Engine 2022.2 is out officially. There's now save and load, reorder sprites at runtime, improved string support as well as a vastly improved mechanism for making custom masks for light and shadow effects.https://t.co/t3GTmflhnF pic.twitter.com/JMLuJW7tGQ
