The first news story for today and one I think many will still be interested in playing when it gets an eventual release, is the upcoming game of Knights & Slimes for the C64 by Monte Boyd. Yes indeed we've just found out through Monte Boyd, that if you're still looking forward to his arcade platformer, then as of today you can check out the latest footage of the game which gives us a better look at the new levels, new player characters, and the SID tunes!
I've been working on levels, new player characters, and the SID tunes. Also you now hit an enemy if you land on them. Watch with sound on if you can! #c64 #commodore #commodore64 #retrogame #indiegame #solodev #vintagecomputers #keepingupwithcommodore pic.twitter.com/tFHWMx1NK9

Knights and Slimes has come a long way since its first showing, when he originally said he is was hoping to turn the game into something more throughout the next few months. As not only does it look like a very enjoyable arcade platformer, but there's more enemies to defeat, a new world map, multiple levels to play through, and much much more yet to come as the game's development cycle continues. So yes if you're looking for a very decent looking C64 game in the near future, Knights & Slimes by Monte Boyd certainly looks like a game that many will enjoy when it gets an eventual release.
