Even more C64 games to get through now, as Psytronik via Facebook has just announced the previously mentioned C64 game of "Miner 2019er ", has finally been released for the C64! This game of which we did post about some time ago on Indie Retro News, is a fantastic prequel to the legendary classic of Miner 2049er. A game that was originally released way back in 1983 by Bill Hogue as a game that also set new standards for computer games due to its arcade quality concerning the action, paired with excellent sound and outstanding graphics(c64 wiki).
This is a brand-new C64 PAL/NTSC release by Daniel Avery with permission and support from the original game author Bill Hogue, while also reproducing the look and feel of the original game. For those of you want to know what's featured in this new game which is available to download right now, you'll be pleased to know it has 25 all-new levels along with ports of three Colecovision exclusive levels, several new elements such as hidden items, bonus levels, hi-score table saves, a Rob Hubbard inspirational tune, and much much more all compatible with SD2IEC, Pal, NTSC and C64 Mini/Maxi!
