Comment/Reaction's via Disqus have been removed...Temporary comment system in place

While we have always used Disqus for our readers to be able to comment and react, because of their new pricing system and the way they provide ads, for the time being it has been removed. IndieRetroNews will never have Ads on the website ( It was showing softcore porn ), nor will we pay £100 a month for the level of service that is needed. It's pretty disgusting! - So for the time being until we find a better and free commenting service, please use the temporary one provided. Thank you.

    1. Thank you! Seems to be working fine with just ordinary comments :D - Please can comment without even registering. However I've had to leave moderation on - The Spam is horrendous!

    1. Even with Disqus in place previously, we got a lot of spam. Thankfully there is moderation in place to make sure nothing gets posted without my approval :D

  8. Fantastic! Disqus seems to be embarrasing glitchy now. I've even been banned when trying to access not even posting a single word! Love the way you're doing things right, this is a labour of love. Keep up the good work, Indie Retro News is my daily coffee break morning companion since long time ago!

  11. Finally I can comment something. Disqus(ting) doesn't like Brave as browser.
Yeah, quality over quantity, don't give in to those extortionists!

  12. That explains why they wouldn't show up at work sometimes. I think this is better, though watch out for bots...
