From 1987 onwards Konami published the mighty game of Contra, which was also known as Gryzor on many home computer systems such as the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64. It is regarded as one of the best run and gun action games ever created and is also highly regarded on the CPC. So for any of you that remember the game, we've just been given a poke via twitter, that Neeso Games who is also behind the brilliant Super Delivery Boy, looks to be working on a Contra game but for the Amiga!
Another small iteration on what could be a decent Contra on #Amiga. Made with #ScorpionEngine using some assets from @ansimuz and @Anokolisa pic.twitter.com/FEPANO1Omt

While we are not sure if this game is going to be turned into a full Contra experience, from all we know so far from the Twitter feed, is not only did the creator open the old Contra style prototype he made last year, while making improvements, but from the latest update he also made a small iteration on what could be a decent Contra game. The game is being made with ScorpionEngine using some assets from @ansimuz and @Anokolis.. So as ever watch this space for more info as and when we get it :)
