3D part looks rad. 2D part looks .. uh .. not rad. lol
ReplyDeleteIs this an enhanced SEUCK game? The side-scrolling part? The 3D part looks very nice but surely SEUCK wasn't used in it?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the explanation! Pretty ingenious way to use SEUCK, I must say.
Delete"Password: carolinemunro"...Hmm, maybe the 2d part is actually spot on: the alien planet is a sound stage in 1970s Cinecittà, Rome!
ReplyDeleteAlf and Richard are talented people, and they have been doing what they enjoy and like for decades now, so I am not going to diss their work. But I do think it is such a waste of talent them sticking to SEUCK. They could do so much more!
ReplyDeleteRichard especially. Considering that, he has made games without using SEUCK in the past. Like Let's Invade II, and Death Saw Challenge to use two examples.
DeleteSeems a couple of comments were deleted. I think rather than being critical of the use of SEUCK as an outdated base engine, I rather see this as a demonstration of how far it can be pushed. I’m just happy to see people are still releasing stuff for the beloved C64. Thanks guys. Keep pushing the limits!
