I said to myself no more Flappy Bird games on Indie Retro News, I just can stand them! But then along came another Flappy Bird game which caught my eye that may appeal to our readers. Welcome to Flappy Night: A short Halloween experience for all you C64 owners out there, in which you have to keep on flapping until the night is over. A new game by Digital Monastery that can either played below or watched in frustration in this latest video provided by Saberman.
Although this is just a simple game for the C64, the gameplay for Flappy Night doesn't differ a great deal from any other Flappy Bird clone we've played. Sure the character animation is pretty decent, and the music is great to listen to, but the end result is still to keep on flying till the night is over. Basically all you have to do in this game is try to get your character between the gaps of the landscape by simply tapping the button while also trying not to kill your bird. The further you travel, the higher your score!
Since I am not worthy to get a csdb account I will comment here. I like these little Halloween C64 games. This one is not so easy. I needed some practice to reach even the second night. The game features a nice bird animation and VERY good music. Thanks to Digital Monastery for making it. I had fun. =)
