Petscii Pac-Man - Another Pac-Man clone but this time designed in PETSCII for the C64

We've featured Pac-Man many times now on Indie Retro News, from those mentioned for the Atari 2600 to the Intellivision and even the one that appeared on the Pico-8. Each one varying in style to the 1980's hit classic. Well we've got another game update for you C64 owners, as Saberman has yet again informed us, that you can now download the latest version of Pac-Man for the C64 called Petscii Pac Man; Another variation of a classic but designed in a PETSCII style also known as CBM ASCII.

This looks to be a rather unique Arcade homage for those of you who remember the classic from 1982. As not only does it have all the dot chomping goodness you could want in a Pac-Man Arcade game, but it also features sound effects and made using PETSCII as a nod to the classic. And that's all there is to say about the game, but if it interests you head on over to the link below and check out it on your C64!

  1. Pac Man cannot stop on his tracks. It continues moving until changed direction or there is a wall.
