If you loved playing Sid Meier's Colonization, then it might be worth keeping an eye on Theo Theoderich's in development game of Settle The World. A game that isn't just inspired by the classic that many of us still love to this day, but according to the creator who gave us the update. Settle The World is in development for the Amiga BlitzBasic Jam 2022 as a turn based building and trading game with you versus another player (Single Player mode is also planned, but it will be all the more difficult because there are no trading partners - EAB).
You will have to build settlements, build roads, establish trade relations with your fellow player, explore the map and sometimes send soldiers to war. Make sure that your citizens are satisfied, only then you can succeed in winning the next presidential elections. The goal of the game is to stay in power as long as possible. The game is being developed for Amiga computers with at least 2 MB RAM, a fast processor and a hard disk with multplayer in mind. But do be aware the game is still in development, as many features are still missing see below
"For example, citizen happiness currently has no effect at all on gameplay. However, this is an important element to make the game challenging later on, especially in single player mode - Please see the ReadMe file for further information".
The game is developed for PAL Amiga computers with at least :
- 1 MB Chip-RAM
- 4 MB Fast-RAM
- A hard disk drive
- It is recommended to have at least a 68020 CPU
- Kick-ROM 3.x (testet with 3.1)
