Once again another retro heads up from Saberman, as we've just been told that a new game has been released for the Commodore 64 called 'Slug vs Lettuce' by Scene World Magazine. A game in which playing as a Slug, you must traverse through a one level cave system eating as much lettuce as possible for a high score. To coincide with this retro gaming news, Saberman has also done a video showing the gameplay and the music by Richard Bayliss.
Slug Vs Lettuce is a fun little single screen platformer game. The aim of the game is to help your slug jump onto the platforms and feed it as much lettuce as you possible can. There is one problem however. The cave isn't just deadly with giant droplets falling from the cave roof at varying speed, but you have 10mins in which to complete your task and a set amount of levels. The longer you last, the more Lettuce you eat and the higher your score!
That's one hecker of a fast slug.
