In December of last year we announced the release of LC-Games new Commodore 64 title of 'Scout the Stray'; A maze based game whereby playing as a Stray dog, you had to collect bones while avoid being caught by the dog catchers. Well fast forward to this week and thanks to Saberman giving us the heads up through FB, we've been told that not only does the game now include in-game music, but it has also been updated with some fixes to make the game a far more enjoyable experience. In light of this news, as ever Saberman has done a video of the game being played.
In brief here is the game description from the website : The character that the player will have to control is Scout, a stray dog, who has to go through procedurally generated mazes munching on the bones scattered about and avoid being captured by the dog catchers who are chasing him. A level will end when all bones have been eaten. The game has 32 levels to complete, the speed of the chasers will increase more and more until he reaches the last level, and as a defense weapon, Scout has "barks" at his disposal, with which he can scare the dog catchers who will run away from our hero for a few seconds
