Our good friend Tom has contacted us regarding a lovely looking game called 'Tiny Thor', that is not only available for PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch and Steam OS/Linux, but features true 16-bit pixel art from Henk Nieborg, and the musical talents of the legend that is Chris Hülsbeck! This game which is a Jump'n'Run, goes beyond the usual genre, and combines elements of both action, puzzles and even skills with a unique ability to use your hammer as a powerful throwing weapon.
Throughout your playtime, you will be playing as the great Thunder God Thor, you must destroy enemies with your hammer, collect coins and jewels, solve puzzles, and explore a beautiful landscape sometimes containing the odd bonus cave with a great wall to be smashed for extra goodies! Tiny Thor features lovely 16-bit pixel art by Henk Nieborg, epic boss fights, lots of cool treasures, awesome special abilities, weapon upgrades and four big worlds to explore divided into many different stages!
definitely my cup of tea
ReplyDeleteEine physische PS4 Version würde ich direkt kaufen.
ReplyDeleteFinally after years of development it comes out... let's hope it comes out on console as well.
ReplyDeleteHowever, Henk Nieborg should also be mentioned in the news headline as well as Chris Hülsbeck , two pillars of the 16-bit era.
Yep you are very much correct! Changed :D
DeleteThanks !!! ;)
DeleteYou too are a pillar of modern Retrogaming with your news ;)
Some of the other pixel artists on this game are amazing too. I followed some of them online and yeah, Nieborg's not the only pixel god here. :)
DeleteInnegabile ma lo stile grafico è inconfondibile di Henk Nieborg, se hai giocato ai suoi videgames 2d su Amiga , Nintendo DS etc etc lo riconosci...
