Bomberbot - A fun for all the family Arcade game for the ZX Spectrum by Gabriele Amore

Gabriele Amore is certainly no stranger to us and the homebrew scene, as throughout the years of features on Indie Retro News he has released many brilliant ZX Spectrum games that range from highly challenging to pick up and play for all the family! Well here's another game from this creator that we recommend, and it's his latest game called Bomber Bot. A fun for all the family Arcade game for the ZX Spectrum in which could be described as a Bomber Man inspiration! To coincide with this news, we have some new footage of the game thanks to Saberman who has also done a video below.

In brief this is what Planet Sinclair said about the game (Translated) "Bomber Bot is the new game which is inspired by classics like Bomber Man, or, if you prefer, Eric and the Floaters. The story is that it has nothing to do, because here we have to free our planet from an alien threat, which decided to assault all of our nuclear power plants. These aliens look like giant octopuses, but a bomb placed in the right place is enough to fix them ( and sometimes also us )."

  1. Very cool looking take on Bomberman, some enemy graphics are a bit wibbly in certain circumstances but I'm sure that's just due to the development stage. The underlying idea is very neat, two player simultaneous play could be a lot of fun if planned/possible!
