Another retro gaming news story has reached our inbox, as we've just come across a new game update for the ZX Spectrum called Down The Pipe Reflushed by DF Design with publishing by Phoenixware called 'Down The Pipe Reflushed'. A game in which playing as the young Turdesley, you must traverse down ‘Pipe Central’, ‘Skull City’ and ‘The Kingdom of Mighty Two’ ,while dodging and shooting all manner of strange nasties with his trusty condo-cannon.
As noted by the gameplay description : Pressing fire will suck in our hero’s cheeks and send him down for quick-fire shooting. Pressing up and fire together for stationary shooting. Pressing down will again shrink Turdesley for quick movement and to get through narrow passageways. Follow the arrows and signs which show the way to the exit points, and above all, avoid the nasties within the pipes, and destroy them with your pooey cannon!
Dev Notes : Easier (on the easy mode) and 128K speed included on this 48K version amongst other little tweaks.
