Jimbo is certainly no stranger to IndieRetroNews, as he is one of the only developers who has created new games for the Commodore PET. Games such as PETSCII Bros, PET Panic!, PET Space Invaders 2, TREKWAR are just some of those games that have been mentioned by us. Well here we are with another game from Jimbo, as he has released a new game called 'PETSCII Side-Scrolling Platformer'. A new game which he describes as a Commodore PET game inspired by Mario and Sonic. In light of this news, a gameplay video has been provided which can be viewed below.
Here is what Jimbo says about PETSCII Side-Scrolling Platformer that can be downloaded via the itch link provided. "The Commodore PET now has a multi-level side-scrolling platformer. Inspired by other side-scrolling platform games like Mario and Sonic. Run, jump, collect coins, crush henchmen, battle the bosses, rescue friends". So yes if you have a Commodore PET you owe it yourselves to play this rather eye opening game released just moments ago!
