Paulina's Potions - A charming Amstrad CPC game released via the CPCRetroDev 2023 by Leosoft

This game was just too good to pass up, as trawling through the CPCRetroDev 2023 competition entry page, we've come across a charming looking Amstrad CPC game of Paulina's Potions by Leosoft. A game that doesn't just use a technique called color flipping, but what the creator has said that this technique allows for up to 16 colors in Mode 1...Colors you might have never seen before on a CPC! If this sounds like the sort of game for you, make sure to check out the two videos provided by Saberman and XeNoMoRPH.

While the game does feature crafting, exploration and platforming all the while looking lovely with 16 colors in Mode 1, here's the latest about the games story via the website. "Paulina Calderón is a friendly witch with two passions: Brewing magic potions and Retrocomputing. And she just found out that at a garage sale just around the corner, someone sells the very last CPC 646 that was produced in 1993. Help her to buy this precious antiquity!".
