If you just can't wait for Christmas day and fancy playing a Christmas themed game right now, then you might be interested to know that LC-Games, who was also behind Dig Dug Revival, Bagman Strikes Back and many many others, has released the Christmas game of 'Santa's Troubles': A game in which you have to help Santa Claus recover all the gift packages stolen by the criminals. To coincide with this late hour news story, Saberman has provided a video of this newest of homebrews below.
In brief, here's the latest about the game "The aim of the game is to help Santa Claus recover all the gift packages stolen by the criminals. Once Santa Claus has snuck into the thieves' den, he will have to move inside the building avoiding the enemies and collect the packages bringing them to the fireplace from which he entered. Santa Claus will be slowed down slightly while carrying a package. After recovering all the packages, the player will advance to the next stage".

Cool looking game, the roots in Bagman are evident here but this also reminds me quite a bit of the classic Spectrum game Turmoil, which never saw a C64 port.. hint hint?
