Jump 'n Bump - Multiplayer mayhem with Cute bunnies in this WIP Commodore Amiga OCS game!

It wasn't long ago now that we gave you the heads up, that the 1998 game of ' Jump 'n Bump ', which was released for MS-DOS and as a later remastered version, was coming to the Commodore Amiga, by none other than Earok of the Scorpion Engine. Well if you've been waiting for more news on this game, we are pleased to tell you that as of today, you can try out the latest beta version that essentially contains the core feature set from the original game. Although the creator does state , it hasn't been well tested yet so there may be bugs yet to be found or fixed.

Here's the latest about the game from Earok with hosting and play testing by AmigaLive. "Jump N Bump is a cute but gory four player action game, originally created by Brainchild Design in 1998, now partially available on the Amiga as a downloadable beta version or played online via AmigaLive developed in the Scorpion Engine. As for what the changes are and future developments, they are as follows.

New features:

Title screen (eg, player select)
Players at same height repel each other
Butterflies
Score screen, including breakdown of each player's kills vs other players

Still to come:

Title screen text loop
Performance mode build for smooth gameplay on A500
Mega Drive conversion
Maybe additional levels derived from the original game's map packs?
AI and/or some form of single player mode
Maybe some further tweaks and polish
