Phantomas III The Return of Brok - The third game in the series gets a tease for the C64

In 1986 Dinamic Software released the Spanish game of ' Phantomas 2 ' for many different 8bit systems with an international release name through Codemasters under the title of ' Vampire ': A game that had a mix of adventuring and platforming contained many different screens with deadly enemies, traps and much much more. Well if you remember playing this game back in the 80's, then you may be interested to know that at some point in the near future, 'Phantomas III The Return of Brok' will be coming to the Commodore 64 via SrHead.

While the creator has said noted that this is his first game that's going to be developed in the Commodore 64 assembler. He goes on to say for the public demo that's available below, there's only 10 screens, to test how the game works. Some sprites and intro music are not final, as they belong to other games, they are provisional while the new ones are developed. And finally some sprites and intro music are not final, as they also belong to other games.

  4. There already exists a phantomas 3. It was only made for the MSX computer, maybe the programmer is not aware of that, but this should be Phantomas 4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp9GWC22qmw

  5. How Awesome! With the recent release of the ZX Spectrum version, I wondered if we ever would get it for C64 as I played Vampire (Phantomas 2) to death back in the day. And it even has the 'alternative' C64 sprite! Very Cool! was hoping for a sequel on C64 since Phantomas: Saga Infinity was released for MSX in 2006 (doesn't that make this part IV?).

  6. I played Vampire on the Amstrad and the jumping mechanic totally ruins the game for me. Spend more time trying to get the jumps sorted than actually enjoying playing the game.
