Aliens Neoplasma II - The sequel to an amazing game for the ZX Spectrum 128K and ZX Spectrum Next!

It wasn't long ago now that we had the pleasure of playing the awesome game 'Aliens NeoPlasma ' on the Spectrum which was developed by Sanchez crew (Russian Federation); a horror platformer as their own take on the Aliens movie theme complete with friendly face-huggers. Well fast forward to this month however and as a great heads up by β„π• π•¨π•π•’π•Ÿπ••π•€ β„π•–π•§π•šπ•–π•¨π•€@Tezmondo74. We've been told this great game has got a sequel for the ZX Spectrum 128k and ZX Spectrum Next called "Aliens Neoplasma II".

Here's the latest from the website. ""Aliens Neoplasma II" is a continuation of the first game by Sanchez Crew set in the "Aliens" universe. The story of Lieutenant Smith continues inside a secret Weyland-Yutani laboratory. Trained guards, a treacherous artificial intelligence, and hordes of terrifying xenomorphs—nothing will stop Ashley on her path. Vengeance for the team's demise will be achieved at any cost..."

  1. That's so cool! I still wished the C64 would get a port of the first one, but I guess that's still put to rest as far as I know. I do wish I had a spectrum. Old OR new.

    3. You mean Eric Majikeyric, the developer who was porting the game to the C64(and the guy behind the impressive Another Word ongoing port)? They are "On Hold" in Majikeyric tch.io page(http://majikeyric.free.fr/my-itch/) . Maybe the reason is Majikeyric stance on the necessary presense of a Cpu Accelerator in C64 case.

    4. eric wants this game to need an accelerator on the c64 when it didn't need one on the spectrum? :O

    5. Well considering ZX Spectrum owners never got a port of the ORGANISM for C64 seems like a fair trade. ;) Even though ORGANISM looks like a ZX Spectrum game converted to C64.

  5. What's a Spectrum Next? Sans me Googling. There's no obvious link here to a description. It's just an emulator?

    1. The Spectrum NEXT is an official successor to the ZX Spectrum. It uses FPGA to replicate and enhance how the original Spectrum functioned, while providing a 'NEXT' mode that has more capabilities.

So the NEXT, when operating in NEXT mode, is like an Amstrad CPC Plus Apple IIGS AppleSqueezer or something comparable, in which the original processing functions are expanded and upgraded, with enhanced visuals and sound.
