I'm a huge top down racing fan, from games such as Micro Machines to Supercars and Indy Heat on the Amiga. Well here's another top down racing game you might like to try that was recently released on the Commodore 64, it's 'Party Speedway Extended' via K&A plus; An enhanced version of a tiny sprite racing game that originally came 1st place at the WiLD Demo Competition at Teddy Beer C=64 Party way back in 2022. To coincide with this news, Saberman has done a new video showing the final build of the game. A game which is available as a collector’s box, a single physical release or digital download attached to the K&A+ #25 magazine.

Doesn't look very speedway, the whole point is to slide/skid sideways a lot of the time. this looks a bit too simple and fast!
ReplyDeleteI know right and all the tracks are almost the same
DeleteThe German economy sim looks very... German. (Also, lovely).
ReplyDeleteThen you need to play Spediteur instead 😉
