Vector5 Gamers is certainly no stranger to Indie Retro News, creating some rather enjoyable games such as Space Station 23, Laserscape, Jump Out, and our personal favorite for the festive season Santa's Workout. Well if you were hoping for some more games from this creator, then as of today you can play the newest of releases called 'Drip 2 - The Sequel'. A maze based game that in itself is based on the Amiga game by Art Skiles for the Commodore Amiga. To coincide with this news, we've got some footage of the game viewable below.
Here's the latest from the website. "Drip 2: The sequel is a game with 15 mazes. You must move along the pipes of each maze and rust them to fill the areas and advance to the next maze. After completing a maze, you'll get a code for the next maze. Every 3 mazes completed will entitle you to a bonus round where extra drips can be won. The game contains 4 different maze types: ice, acid, fire, and bacteria".

blimey. I remember playing the Amiga game on one of those old public domain compilation disks I sent off for.
ReplyDeleteThanks!! Very Good !!
ReplyDeleteI love this game.. in theory! Its just the controls are a little cumbersome. It kinda needs to control more like arcade pacman to make it easier to smoothly hit the 90 degree corners at T-junctions. Otherwise very enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteLooks a bit like Pepper II, and some other game for the MSX computer whose name I can't remember. Oh yeah, it was Pipi! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07N20DdjU8Q
