Thanks to a midweek shout out from Saberman, we've been told that the upcoming Commodore Amiga game of 'Dr.Dangerous' by HooGames2017, has been updated with a number of changes such as improved game speed, new enemy types and so much more. For those of you wondering if this game is worth following, then the feedback such as "Wow, what an awesome game! " and "Great game, congrats to you all :)" such tell you all you need to know. To coincide with this news, we've got some more info about the game as well as a video.
Here is what was said via the itch io page. "My first attempt to make an Amiga game. I'm using the Scorpion Engine and this is the result so far. This is a test version where you can play the first 11 levels. There are still some bugs in the game. The downloadable Amiga digital version is an ADF file designed for use with an Amiga emulator. For best results, we recommend playing the game using the WinUAE emulator. Alternatively, use a suitable utility such as "adf2disk" to write the ADF file to a floppy disk to play on real Amiga hardware".

Looks good, hopefully a WHDLoad slave will be available, having to resorting to floppies on real Amigas in 2024 is far from ideal!
ReplyDeleteHaha the player sprite remains me of Back to the Future Darth Vader from planet Vulcan. Anyway this looks realy cool for me. Sadly i have the same opinion like the comment before, i would prefer an hd version
