QuasaurusX - Amiten's latest demo is a new side scrolling shoot em up for the Amiga

Amiten Software has announced a demo tease, for their newest of creations for the Commodore Amiga called 'QuasaurusX'. A new project in which the creator has said "You must Prepare to embark on a space odyssey filled with intense action and fast-paced side scrolling battles". While the game isn't finished and there's a long way to go before it's complete, you can atleast check out the latest footage of the game, as well as try out the demo below.

Requirements 
  • Amiga 1200 : Game is not optimized at this moments so avoid unexpanded Amigas.

  2. GraphX and sounds are pretty good. Enemies ways need more work. The Combo 200 pixels height and a very big starship is a bad choice. So many games on Amiga/ST made de same mistake.

    1. 100% agreed. A side view instead of top view with a slimmer Sprite would have been nice.
      Sprite look from a vertical shooter turned 90°.

  4. Not to try and be too critical, but the enemies seem to all come in in perfectly straight lines, no variation to their patterns. The graphics that are there are nice, but the completely black background is a bit boring, The moving stars are nice, but they almost seem like bullets you need to avoid; The boss enemy in the video looks OK,, but has no character. Nothing on it moves or does anything. Sound is nice.
