Dr. Dangerous - Scorpion Engine developed Commodore Amiga game by HooGames2017 is finally here!

A great Friday news story for you all, as we've just been informed through Facebook, that the previously announced Commodore Amiga game of 'Dr.Dangerous' by HooGames2017, has come out of development and is finally available to download and play. A game that not only features great graphics, but there's lots of levels, great music and so much more that makes this a worthy Scorpion Engine developed game to play right now. To coincide with this news, we've got some footage of the game via Saberman below.

While the story of the game is very long winded and a bit overwhelming for me, here's what the creator said in brief from the first announcement to now. "My first attempt to make an Amiga game. I'm using the Scorpion Engine and this is the result. The downloadable Amiga digital version is available as an ADF, lha and has Amiga mini support. For best results, we recommend playing the game using the WinUAE emulator. Alternatively, use a suitable utility such as "adf2disk" to write the ADF file to a floppy disk to play on real Amiga hardware".

    2. There's probably only one or two that hate the scorpion engine, and I have no idea why! Ah well, the vast majority are happy so it's all good :)

    3. I am not the one complaining about Scorpion Engine games, that's why I said 'despite being a Scorpion Engine game', but I remember that someone said that IndieRetroNews is becoming the Scorpion Engine RetroNews ;)

    4. Scorpion Engine is to Amiga what Unity is to PC. Without Unity, many PC games would not exist.

  4. Really enjoying this one! It is a little bit of a shame that one touch resets the entire level to the start, tutorial screens and all, but that's a minor thing in a great title. Very cool to see games like this gracing our Amiga monitors in 2024!

  5. I was forgotten to comment this : Dr. Dangerous is the example that Scorpion engine with skilled hands produces excellent titles, this one is nice to see, funny to play and i love the animations (so cured).
