The Amiga news has been a bit on the slow side lately, so to change all that, here's a new game announcement that is sure to excite both the Amiga and the Arcade community, it's the 1980's 'Elevator Action' by Taito Corp. A new Arcade to Amiga conversion which is coming to the Commodore Amiga thanks to JOTD! The same creator behind other awesome Arcade to Amiga conversions such as Donkey Kong, Galaga, Phoenix and Moon Patrol 500. To coincide with this news, we've got some early development footage of the game as well as an alpha download below.
Here's what was said about the game from its first announcement and todays update. "Small video of my new WIP game: Elevator Action. ATM I'm targetting AGA so I can use wide sprites for the elevators & dual playfield for fast sprite / playfield separation, but a OCS version is also planned. AGA will ensure that the games runs perfectly at 50 FPS. For ECS, it will need more tricks but it will run too. (The intro would run on ECS too, no need for AGA there). The game is now playable, but will have issues as it is still an Alpha.
