Soltys - A 1995 DOS point and click adventure game is sill coming to the Amiga (AGA)

A Friday heads up for all of our Amiga readers , as we've recently found out through the EAB forums, that Tukinem together with Retronics, is still working on bringing the Polish point and click adventure game of 'Sołtys' over to the Commodore Amiga 1200 with an English release date of May 23, 2025. A game which was originally released by LK Avalon for MS-DOS on May 23, 1995. To coincide with this news, we've got some early footage of the game below.

Here's what tukinem1986 said about this announcement. "It's time to present the game I've been writing since February. The original was released by L.K. Avalon on May 23, 1995, so I'm slightly extending the release date to May 23, 2025, the 30th anniversary. The game is not a port, but written from the beginning by me. All animations were ripped frame by frame from Dobox. I have my full blessing to write the game, which is why it will be sold by the Retronics store, which has a license to sell the PC version".

"The game requires an Amiga with an AGA chip, a hard drive, and at least 1 MB Fast RAM. I have the entire gameplay, including the end of the game, saving, and loading the game ready. Additionally, unlike the PC version, you can change the language of the dialogues during the game. For now, we have English, Polish, and Spanish. Italian and German have yet to be added. Here's a short video I recorded, showing the beginning and the first few locations. The two background musics come from the demoscene, so they won't be in the game eventually, they're just added so the game can load and play anything without error"

And that's all we know so far, but as soon as there's an update we will let you all know :)
