Scramble RX - A classic 1980's retro shoot em up is getting an enhanced ZX Spectrum version by happycodingzx (+Demo)

I was just thinking to myself we need some decent Saturday news, and thankfully we've just got some! As looking through my inbox, we've been told that the classic arcade game of 'Scramble', is getting an RX version by none other than happycodingzx of The Midnight Brew. The same creator behind other amazing games such as Pacman RX, Lunar Rescue RX and Roust. To coincide with this news, Saberman has provided a video showing the game not only looking better, but it has smoother scrolling than the original ZX Spectrum version from 1983 too.

Here's the latest from the developer. This demo contains the first two levels of Scramble RX,  which is currently in 'early access' for my patreon supporters. I thought it would be nice to at least offer a little something to the community in general to have a play with. Hope you like it! I will make the full digital version available eventually but for the time being, if you'd like to support the work and access the full game as well as many others, head over to:

You can stay for as little or as long as you like according to your budget. You can also buy a physical tape as part of the Midnight Brew Collection 2024, available here:
